Sharon came and done a cast of our beloved pet Sidney at the vets after sadly having to put him to sleep. A couple of days later we met her at her studio to view his cast and to choose our frame and colours. Sharon was lovely and told us how peaceful Sidney was and how well he was being looked after. Then the magic happened! Our framed cast and photo with a lock of his hair was made! Wow!! such an emotional moment when we saw what she had produced for us. He is hanging in his favourite place, keeping an eye on the front door, and is in view as we come home every day. We can’t express how grateful we are and would never have known about Cast a Memory if she hadn’t have put her leaflets in the quiet room at the vet. Frequently Asked Questions
Children’s drawing, writing, messages etc need to be written in black felt tip pen on white paper. Simple line drawings work best in black pen but the drawing can be photocopied black instead.
Once this is done you can either post it or email to us at info@castamemory.com
All item are handmade and will have some slight imperfection which is part of their uniqueness. I work to a high standard and will minimise the imperfections, but please note these are not factory made.
Once the prints have been taken they are scanned into the computer and edited to remove, smudges, hair marks etc. Then it is reduced in size ready for a stamp to be made. Please note all prints are kept on file for any future orders.
Option 1
If you require a fingerprint, hand/foot or paw print, you can make an appointment at our studio where we will take the prints. Once the item is made you can collect or have it posted.
Option 2
If you live further away we can send out the ink, once you have taken the prints decide what you would like, return the prints to us with payment (cheque or online bank transfer) once made you can either collect or have it posted.
